Admit you are a sinner and tell the Lord you want to turn from it. Jesus said, “…except ye repent,ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).
Believe that “….Christ died for your sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Confess… Trust in Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9 says, “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
The time to trust in Christ and to make Him the object of your faith, is now! You can do it today by praying something like this.
The Bible says, ” Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor. 5:17
My friend, if you prayed that prayer in all sincerity, you can say,”I am now saved and in the family of God!”. You are now “born again” through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and from this moment being transformed continuously by the Holy Spirit to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
The next step you must take is to find yourself a place to worship — a bible-believing, Bible-teaching church that will help you to understand your salvation and who you are in Jesus Christ. St. Matthew’s Baptist Church is a great place to begin!
For more information please contact the church at 856-629-4614 and come and worship with us. May God Bless You and the Peace of Christ be with you always!
